What OFSTED says

Ofsted is a governing and regulatory body for all childcare providers in England and Wales. Ofsted carries out independent, expert inspections to all nurseries, and produces independent reports which help parents and the wider community to make informed choices about childcare.

The latest Ofsted report about childcare at Farfield Nursery was very complimentary about our nursery stating that ‘children fully engage in their activities and they experience rich, varied and imaginative learning opportunities throughout the day’.

They also said that ‘the quality of teaching is highly effective and very good’ and as a result ‘children show good levels of interest and are highly motivated, inquisitive and independent learners’.

They also said that the ‘children respond positively to the high expectations staff have’ and that ‘behaviour is very good’.

Ofsted spoke highly of our staff for continually praising and encouraging the children.

We were also pleased that Ofsted recognised our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles as we are passionate about this.
